The Philippines marks the “Day of the Unborn” on March 25 along with several other nations. On this day, everyone is enjoined to celebrate the day dedicated to unborn children with activities that will communicate pro-life messages and promote the dignity and protection of unborn children.
We in Couples for Christ celebrate the gift of life and offer our prayers for the protection of all unborn children. We remember in a special way that Jesus our Savior was also once an unborn child like all of us in the womb of our Virgin Mother.
For the week of March 25 to 31 (or the closest household meeting to this date), we ask all households to reflect on and discuss any of the given readings attached, to think about Christ’s Incarnation, the gift of life, and the Annunciation of the Lord.

Prayer for Life
O Mary, bright dawn of the new world,
Mother of the living,
to you do we entrust the cause of life:
Look down, O Mother, upon the vast numbers
of babies to be born,
of the poor whose lives are made difficult,
of men and women who are victims of brutal violence,
of the elderly and the sick killed
by indifference or out of misguided mercy.
Grant that all who believe in your Son
may proclaim the Gospel of life
with honesty and love to the people of our time.
Obtain for them the grace
to accept that Gospel as a gift ever new,
the joy of celebrating it with gratitude
throughout their lives

On March 25 and in every day of our lives, let us be one in thought, prayer, and action, in thanking God for the gift of life and in asking Him for the grace to be active defenders and proclaimers of the culture of life.
